Consent & privacy

The plain-English notice every person reads before anything is recorded. Written to meet the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

What is recorded

  • Pages you open on the approved sites below (address without the query string, page title).
  • What you click, choose, type and submit there — the label of the button or field, and the value after redaction.
  • In a walk-through only (when you narrate as you work): your voice, turned into text.

What is never recorded

  • Anything on sites that are not on the approved list — the extension does not run there.
  • Passwords, payment card fields and anything marked as a password or card field.
  • Emails, phone numbers, card numbers, IBANs and Emirates ID numbers — masked on your device before anything is sent.
  • Your screen, camera, keystroke timing, private browsing windows or other tabs.
  • Microphone audio when you are observed (recorded quietly in the background) — your voice is only recorded when you press record for a walk-through.

Consent and control

  • Nothing is recorded until you read this notice and accept it in the extension. Consent is recorded with a date.
  • A visible REC badge shows whenever recording is on. Press Pause in the extension at any time — background recording stops instantly.
  • You can withdraw consent and ask for your recordings to be deleted at any time. Ask the owner of this account, who can delete them.

How long data is kept, and who sees it

  • Recorded steps and voice transcripts are deleted after 30 days. The playbooks built from them are kept, with source links that expire with the raw data.
  • Only people in your organisation’s account can see recordings and playbooks. 100x staff access data only to support you. 100x does not train AI models on your data; the AI processing runs through Anthropic’s commercial API, whose terms exclude training on customer data, and voice notes are transcribed by ElevenLabs.
  • The purpose is to document how work is done — not to monitor or score individuals.
